My first job

I have my first job! Of course I have had other jobs in the past like babysitting the K's; but this is my first job where my parents aren't the boss. So. . . I 'm pretty excited. I am going to babysit three kids before and after school. Their mom is going to drop them off at my house at 6:30 am and the bus will pick them up and bring them to school. Then the bus will drop them off at my house and I will watch them until their mom picks them up.

Shelby is in 5th grade, Drew is in 4th, and Riley is in 2nd. I am planning ( after school ) to set them down and help them with their home work. You know, tutor them. But we'll see. I'm not sure what to do during the morning hours though. I may just see if they have all their home work and they have what they need for school and yada, yada, yada. Hey! ya got to have a schedule.

Ricky was in the same class as Shelby when we went to Udall school and Shelby had the BIGGEST CRUSH on Ricky so that is going to be a little ackward. Ackward for them; funny for me.

I start on Aughust 13 but I am going to meet them before hand. Otherwise they would be meeting me half asleep on the first day of school. SCARY!

Summer time blues

It is so hot! Yesterday it was 9:00 a.m. and it was 85 degrees outside! I know that may not be a big deal to some of you who live in the desert but it is to me. I like to do my laundry in the morning; with it being so hot i might as well get up at midnight to get my laundry done. Not a bad ideal. :) Since its so hot all you really want to do is swim or sleep; so thats what we do. Okay we don't exactly sleep but you won't see us out there breaking any horses or doing labor-is work like that! :) And we don't get to do much swimming either. Unless you count the pond but I don't really like to swim in it any more. I can't seem to get the pondy smell out of my hair later. And I like to have no-pondy smelling hair! I'm not complaining; I'm just venting my feelings.

Mom wants me to clean the K's closet so we can get their dresser out so I'd better get off . :)

Thank goodness there's no bugs to speak of ( except the few flies that can't get out of the air-conditioned house),

Fashion Show

I am in bymanship (which is in 4-H for any one who doesn't know) and on Tuesday I was modeling a dress. This was the first time I had ever modeled anything. When we got there I went straight to the bathroom and changed. ( Mom has a picture of my dress) We were filling out this long paper Haley rushed by, stopped, and rushed back to me. " I have the exact same dress," is what she practally screamed in my ear. And she did! A little different style but the exact same fabric. And she is in the same modeling class as me. SCARY!
We finally get the card finished ( We might of gotten it finished earlier if we had discovered the nursrey before we started) and we're off too find my room. We had got there at 10:30 and I was suppose to modeled at 11:15. I freaking out because- I always do at these sort of things. I watched some girls model, got the hang of the turning, and then finally it's my classes turn! I am the dogone last person and it's hot in the hallway. Sure, they've got a fan going but there was about 15 girls standing around and at least 10 girls rushing back and forth. So that fan's not doing much good. I wore my hair down so it was sticking to me too!
Mom is about to stick a fist in some poor judges face because the pamphlet said that it would end at 12:00 and it is now 12:45. And all 3 boys had been in that building too long.
It's finally my turn and I don't really care any more; well I do care but well, I want to get this over with! I did well and I got a blue ribbon but I didn't get call backs or place. But I didn't care; I was hot, stick, thirsty, ready to get out of my dress, + I am ready to get the boys out of that building! i had fun, and I plan to do it agian. Mom and I will just have to fly solo. :)

I've done it! (almost)

I finally have my own blog!! After a lot of ' what in the world' and ' this stupid computer is crazy!' I have figured it out. Well, actually it only took me reading the instructions and following them.

You see, I have a google email and if you had an email on google or are in google groups you had to click on 'sign it.' Simple as pie, right? It was. All I had to do was put my email address, password, and pick a blog.

Until I get my own camera there won't be too many pictures.( Don't worry, I'll get a camera soon!) I have to use my mom's camera and I don't think you guys know how hard it is to wrestle that camera out of my mom's grasp. HaHa
