My Horses

I know that I haven't been around in a while. Sorry!
This weekend is the Old Settlers Rodeo in Mulvane. I ran on Friday on Socks, my 23 yr old, and didn't place in the money. Tonight I'm going to run my big horse and see what we can do. After this rodeo I can no longer run Socks. EECK!! And what a bad time to tell me that too. Mighty is in rehab- learning how to run barrels and behave like a gentleman and Big is fast but a greenhorn. Big is pretty dependable though. He's the type of horse that will do it over and over the same way unless you change it. You can just go out and run barrels! Mighty you have to warm up, keep moving, warm up some more, and all together never really hold still.

Both horses are dimonands in the rough and even though I threaten to kill them, sell them, beat them to a pulp, and much more I know that they will take me a long ways.

The world's worst food combination is . . . Jell-o and Miricle Whip!!!


I'm back!! I hope that you weren't coming to my blog so that you could sip a nice cup of tea. 'Cause I don't think Jello and Miricle Whip is going to set well on your stomach!

I know. . . I'm bad about keeping up with my blog. Kinda like my growth. I get sudden spurts and then I don't grow for a year. I shall try harder. ;)

It may not be offically summer but it sure feels like it. And I'm glad. At least its not freezing. THe only downer is that my Dad has strict polocies on the AC. He is just now getting it into use. THANK GOODNESS. You can only eat so many salt-covered ice cubes!!
